We were in the middle of a interior remodel and to our surprise they offered every service we required which made it soon much easier dealing with one person & company Shane overcame every obstacle put b4 for him. What I really like about them is my friend needed just 1 room of carpet & he got the same exact service we received. Highly recommend!"

"Overall the experience was regretfully disappointing. The 1st issue was the lack of communication when scheduling the appointments and the counter tops were not cut to fit the wall and sink correctly so the installer notched out the drywall and left the mess for us to clean up as well as deciding to take the countertops and my farm house sink back to their shop to get the cuts corrected on the countertops. When they came back a 3rd time the cuts that were made to the countertops along the back of the sink started as an 1/8 of an inch on the left and progressively became wider up to almost a 1/2 inch gap on the right side. There was also about a 1 inch chip that had to be repaired and it stuck out like a sore thumb. They tried to repair it a 2nd time but it has continued to discolor to a yellow color. I have reached out several times to Jay Black about having these issues resolved and continually I have been ignored. We love the counter tops and wish they would take care of us as they should. When asked to sign the work order for satisfaction of the installation.... I wrote that I needed to discuss the install with management... as I was not satisfied with the install... you would think they would want to avoid reviews like this by simply taking care of the issues."

"I called for an estimate to replace flooring after hurricane Sally. I waited a month and checked back to see about my quote. Apparently they dropped the ball and would send somebody out named Angela. After several calls to Angela and her telling me she would get me a quote tomorrow, next week and at the end of the day, I gave up. I never heard another word from her again. I remember the days when people did what they said instead of BSing the customer. I found an individual that actually did what he said he would do. I would highly recommend that people look elsewhere for flooring."

"I am glad we had the bad experience before we spent money. We went into Hoods to design an outdoor cabinet. They were very busy and we were patiently waiting our turn browsing. Someone asked if we needed help and we told him we were waiting our turn for the cabinet designer. One was at lunch. We saw other people walk up to the designer and ask for help. She told them she would be right with them. The young man trying to get us helped asked her when she might get to us. She said, “Good Lord, I can give you a brochure”. We left snd Will not return."
