"I wish I could say I had a decent experience but that simply is not the case. I had Paul rebuild my automatic transmission on my car. Upon getting my car back, I found that he caused a leak in my rear main seal and broke off a few exhaust bolts which he refused to answer for. Furthermore, my car was lurching between 2nd and 3rd gear (hunting). I told him it felt like an issue with the torque converter and he said that this was not the issue. At one point he stated it was my mass airflow sensor even though the issue wasn't happening until he worked on the car. He offered to replace the MAF with one from the junk yard but I flat out refused. I took it back and forth for almost a year and he kept on blaming other things. At one point he threw in my face that my 6 month warranty had expired. I had to remind him he never fixed the issue upon finishing the car. Eventually I had to hang it up as I was in the process of fighting health issues and moving. I took the car to a specialist where I live now and they confirmed that the torque converter he put in was too weak for the car. I ended up taking a large loss to sell the car with that issue that he never resolved. It's too bad, I had high hopes that he was a decent mechanic. He came highly recommended. I guess I was just the person he felt like scamming. Stay far away!!"
