"When I worked delivering auto parts, Dave Bell (the owner) was easily the most pointlessly mean, cruel, and combative person I have ever worked with. Hurling expletives, slamming doors in faces, repeated angry phone calls to bosses over perceived slights (don't worry, Dave has a reputation so we mostly just laughed about them), constant rants about "safety" and "living in a bad neighborhood" that any Arlington resident will recognize as a dogwhistle...just the worst human being in a field already packed with small business tyrants. I have to assume he can control himself around customers and just chooses to act this way around people who he sees as beneath him, so please don't be fooled by the whopping 8 whole positive reviews this place has received; there are half a dozen other auto places within walking distance of Bell Auto Repair and I speak from experience when I say that all of them are more deserving of your patronage than Dave is."
"Can’t believe I hadn’t left a review before now. I highly recommend Bell’s auto repair. Fair prices and estimates. Comprehensive diagnostics. Without the over sell. If something needs repair he’ll tell you, if it doesn’t he’ll tell you that too. Quality service and always shows you any repaired parts. Paul and his team of mechanics are top notch. Me and my Hyundai are grateful."
