"Bought a Mercedes from this company. We have had them do several oil changes. Recently had an issue and had it towed to WI for service. They had the vehicle for a couple weeks, never determined the issue, but charged $536 for diagnostic and advised they did not know what was wrong but suggested the repair could be over $8k. We had the vehicle towed to the Mercedes dealer and they advised that we needed right off to replace the battery-and then they could diagnose. Battery replaced- and they determined the problem was a bad ignition coil. Seems like something WI service should have been able to figure out, as it was a relatively simple repair and our entire bill from Mercedes was $1250. Not close to the figure WI ‘service techs’ guessed . They thought it was a timing belt issue - not sure what diagnostic technique they used to come up with that, but it was not close to accurate. We realized in this process that they may sell cars at World Imports -we are happy with the vehicle- but they are NOT equipped or trained to service those vehicles. We will never make that mistake again and I would tell anyone from our $536 mistake, they sell cars, and change oil. Don’t trust your car to be repaired by their ‘service department’. After 2 weeks, and they never suggested a new battery, I don’t know how they were able to attempt a diagnostic- so I’m not sure what exactly they did at all. No repair, no diagnostic, but $536 please and thank you, take your car somewhere else where they actually know what they’re doing. Lesson learned, car is fine now, but we were actually thinking we might need to buy another vehicle after WI suggested the $8k+ repair that they incorrectly assumed (based on what?) might be required. Do not trust them with your car repairs."
