"Had a cylinder misfiring so they replaced an ignition coil, but it blew as soon as I drove it off the lot. Said it wasn't their problem, so I fixed it myself with a new ignition coil and it's been running fine for almost a year since that happened. Scammers."

"My car was making loud noise and another shop told me it will cost $1400 as they wanna replace the Catalitic converter assembly. Then I contacted Gator muffler and they fixed it only for $40!!!! The noise just vanished! It was such a huge relief for me, I felt so grateful to them. They are undoubtedly the best exhaust shop unlike other shops who wanna rob the customers with overcharging. "Hate to be the first to give a negative review as I tried to rectify the situation few times. I took my car to these people after being recommended by my mechanic for muffler issues. I got a new muffler in my vehicle about 8 months ago and it started to sound loud again. I took my vehicle to them on Friday and told them about the new 8 month old muffler and it sounding loud again. Received a call from a young fella stating that nothing is wrong with the muffler. I asked if he drove the vehicle and he denied, stating that it’s Friday and they close early and don’t have time to drive it. I replied that it sounds loud when driving. Received a call back in next 30 min stating that the muffler I had changed 8 months ago is a cheap muffler and that’s what sounds loud and it would be $140 some dollars plus tax to replace it. I replied that money is not the issue and if it takes care of the problem please fix it. The young man replied that muffler is the issue and he will put a better muffler on it. I was working and left the work to pick it up in the afternoon. However, it start sounding loud again on my way. I called them at the next Monday and talked to the young fella and told him of the unresolved issue. He said that my tires are making that sound and that’s all there is to it. (Sigh). I have been driving for a long time and know when the muffler is loud and when the tires make any sound with different tread patterns. And if it was TIRES than why did they replace the 8 month old muffler. Since then I called them twice and asked to talk to the owner to get it looked at again. However, the young fella answered the phone each time and told me both times that owner is busy , owner is not there, he himself is the owner and good luck getting hold of the owner and hanging up the phone on me. Yes! it hurts spending $160 at the shop for nothing. At least be courteous to check the vehicle and tell me that I am wrong or they misdiagnosed the muffler."
