"Great store to shop for meats. Love all of the quality pre made food that looks so fresh. Super nice staff. Love all of the Cuban food options. Parking can be a little bust, but love coming here for the food and staff."
"I'm a black Cuban. Blacks are the majority population in Cuba, but not here in America and this presents a challenge. Every time I go in the store I 'm spoken to in broken English. I will politely respond in Spanish (I'm bilingual English-Spanish). A few times the employee I respond to will continue speaking to me in broken English. It offends me. It's like saying there are no black Cubans. Specially after I identify myself as Cuban, born and raised. Management needs to do a better customer service and diversity training. I also believe employees should make a better attempt at learning some basic English. Assuming everybody does, or must speak Spanish is presuntuos in my opinion. I'm not saying they are racists, but the employees at Sedano's should have a better, regular diversity sensitivity training. 1. There are many Black Latinos 2. Blacks Americans, Caribbean blacks, Asians and every other community should be treated respectfully. America is a multiracial country."
"If you black. Do not go there. The discrimination is real. Everytime I go in this store . this new guy that works there follows me and watches me .. I even heard them said watch the black guy in Spanish. Yes I do speak Spanish.. those Cubans in there are nasty"
"Crowded if you go on weekends. But here you will find everything you don't find elsewhere. Take your time looking thru there inventory, I say their prices are reasonable, they have a good court. Never tried it , only their cuban coffee Expresso. Good !!!! It's an experience to see things you don't see elsewhere !lots of inventory from everyone in the world.!And with such reasonable prices."
