"If I could give them a “0” I would. My wife and I met with the owner “Scott” to review options for a pool enclosure. When first meeting Scott he was very nice, and professional. That was soon to change! At this first meeting we mentioned that we had holes around the pool exterior in the pavers where the safety fence was installed. We were concerned that they would be seen. Scott assured us that they would be covered up by the frame of the enclosure. Awesome, that was our only concern. After waiting a considerable amount of time to get the job started, his crew showed up in my back yard unannounced and started working. Progress went fine and all looked good except they didn’t center my pool enclosure door with the sidewalk! They had to fix that. After job was done we noticed that NONE of the holes were covered by the aluminum frame as he assured us that they would be. Very disappointing! It looked like the pool frame could have been moved a few inches and they would have been covered but poor design ended that. Scott later lied to us stating that he said he would try to cover the holes no guarantee. Their was no mistake my wife and I both heard Scott say the enclosure would cover the holes. He just lied to get the job. It was now close to winter so we didn’t use the pool or even go out on the pool deck due to the weather. A few months later when the pool pump was off, we noticed aluminum screws all over the bottom of our “brand new” pool rusting on the bottom. In addition, the gutters that they installed were leaking badly. Scott came out to look at the damage and was very rude and accusatory suggesting we threw the screws in the pool. Really? We are going to damage our own pool, for what gain? His workers removed some of the screws and we removed the rest. The pool had to be drained and acid washed and refilled at a great expense. Do you think A -1 Aluminum stepped up and paid for the damages they caused to my new pool? No way! In fact my gutters still leak as well. After calling them a half a dozen times I gave up and just deal with leaking gutters and unpaid for damages. I have tried reaching out to them to resolve this by registered mail, email and phone but they do not respond to any of my correspondence. I would suggest anyone reading this long post will think twice before even getting a quote from this unprofessional company! Scott “the owner” starts out very professional and reassuring but ends up nasty and very unprofessional. STAY FAR AWAY! You will be glad you did."

They even happily accommodated the changes I wanted to make midstream without missing a beat. This deck is solid as a rock and will outlive me by many years. Thank you to everyone at A1. "This is a mixed review, but will NEVER call them again. The staff is helpful and friendly. Sadly, the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional when he called to discuss making an appointment. On top of other things, he shared his business troubles and employee health issues as reasons why he could not make an appointment now or anytime in the future because his life is upside down. We have utilized their services before and we were very satisfied with the work. However, customer NO-service directly from the owner is not a company will be continue to work with."
