"He was assigned by our home warranty. He tried to add extra items to charge us out of pocket and he stole all of our coolant out of our system so that another HVAC company could not diagnose our system. When he initially came, he replaced a cable, when I called to say that our house was not cooling, he said that it was just hot outside and that I was basically dumb. He came back and said he misdiagnosed the issue. It was missing a coil but said he could not get it for 10 weeks. Other contractors could get it in 2 days. He was going to charge us a $200 administrative/paperwork fee, "modification fees" which is on top of what the home warranty paid him. We ended up just buying a new system out of frustration."
