"I was getting a haircut here as an Asian man sometime ago and I specifically told the barber that I was gonna experiment with my haircut and it might take some time. As time went on, it did not pan out the way I wanted(which is fine) but I can tell that the barber that was cutting my hair was making fun of me to the other customers who saw my hair and was doing so in an another language. I just asked the barber at the end to cut it short and to cut everything simply since he couldn't get it right and he was upset that I took forever which I warned him that it might and complained that next time I should just ask for that. It definitely felt racist throughout my haircut so please be careful if you do here."

"I took my son to this barbershop after another barbershop butchered his hair and hairline. Ivan did a fantastic job and I will go back to him again. I do not know how he managed to salvage my sons hair but you can barely tell that his hairline was even messed up."

"I've seen people ask about barbershops and Ivan Jay's Barbershop is my personal choice for many reasons. I showed up late today and he was clearly closed. I didn't know what time he closed and he saw me walk up and check the time on the door and opened the door for me. I've been to other barbershops that turn you away if you show up 45 minutes before close. He's a really good barber and always takes his time and is one of the best in town. I see people bring their kids in all the time and they love him where as I've seen kids at other barbershops be quite difficult. Nice atmosphere and he appreciates his customers. This place is a well kept secret as far as barbershops.Although he's the only barber at the shop and you might have to wait, it's always worth it. I've never had a bad cut here. Located right next to Dairy Queen on the access trail. Ivan is the man."
