"This road offers great views of the lake, but a coral rock-fill lines the bottom of the dike between the grassy area and the thin strip of beach. It would be difficult for some to reach the beach area. There are no bathrooms or picnic areas. There is a trash can. The lock is right there, however, so you can observe the process of watching boats enter and leave the lake. If you just want to have a scenic overview and a peaceful place to rest and eat a simple lunch, this fits the bill."
