"we had to wait 2 hour before being allowed to rent the boat. A tornado warning was issued and passed the sky was blue and the wind was light. It was annoying to wait for a warning that was over a hundred miles away and the front moving away from us, to be told we could not rent due to bad weather."

"The pontoon we reserved (Miss New Buoy) had a very under-sized motor. The seating capacity was 12; we had 11 people. Six of these people departed before noon, but even with 5 people on board, the boat would barely reach 15 mph and had no power. The engine appeared to have a limiter on it, and it would cut out at any higher speed. The steering on the boat was extremely "sticky" and hard to steer. We had a passenger who is a marine owner and also a skilled boat mechanic riding with us. He felt the engine was not mounted low enough. While the boat was comfortable, the steering column was rusted and hard to steer - it had seen its better days. We will try to avoid reserving this pontoon in the future but we have found it very hard to reserve boats in the past two years unless we are booking 4+ weeks in advance. This is not satisfactory for good customer service."

"We loved this marine! You can park trailer overnight and they have a ramp. Everyone was super friendly they also have a complimentary hose to rinse down boat after pulling it out. They had bait and an actual little store which carried most items you may have forgotten and need for fishing."
