"Great place to kayak. Go north towards Arbuckle Lake and then meander back with the current."

"This is the remains of a bridge over Arbuckle Creek that was part of the train tram (Tram Road today in the State Forest) that connected the main line that was West of Old Avon Park Road. The tram led to the Avon Park Air Force Range during World War Two. You can still see the tram in the Satellite view. There are remains of a bridge on the Northwest side of Tram Road crossing Isabel Creek in the State Forest to the North."

"Serenity to experience. Saw 8 canoeists and half dozen kayaks Several Jon boats. The ten kids we saw were having a great time on the water. Bad thing is that only one sign saying about the boat ramp."
