"Beautiful place. You are next to the preserve on one side where deer roam, then you have access to a public boat ramp with parking. If that wasn't enough you are within walking distance to the Navigator bar & grill (currently closed for hurricane repairs) reopening soon. The park also has a covered pavilion and access to public restrooms. Walking path encloses it all."

"From this spot you can technically enter Deep Creek Preserve and there is a ton of paved parking for cars, boats, and horse trailers. There is also a covered picnic area with six tables and a restroom facility. I wasn’t as thrilled with the trails…more on that in a separate review under the Preserve. Also, while there is an entrance to the trail here, I didn’t see any map so you’ll need to bring a photo on your phone from home if you do decide to enter here."
