About the Business

Brownville Park is a beautiful 75-acre park located at 1885 Northeast Brownville Street in Arcadia, Florida. Situated right on the Peace River, the park offers a convenient boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and boats. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful paddle up the river and back, taking in the picturesque scenery along the way.

Day visitors are welcome to explore the park for a small fee of $2. There are nature trails suitable for all ages, with a simple loop trail on the south side and more extensive trails on the north side. "I absolutely do not understand how people are getting camping spots at this park because I have called multiple times, and left multiple voicemails asking to please call me back in regards to camping (all within normal business hours) with NO RESPONSE whatsoever. I even called from my boyfriend's phone to see if it was just my number that was having problems. Same issue. I'm not sure what happened but we had to change the entirety of my birthday weekend because we planned to come here and grab a camping spot for two nights to do some fossil hunting. I've been to this park for just a day trip and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I had a nice relaxing time looking for fossils. I just really have to give a poor review for the extreme lack of communication within this park."

"What a nice campground! Small, Very quiet, great sites, clean and well kept! On the Peace River with beautiful trails and scenic views. The camp hosts were very nice and accommodating! Great get away weekend. We will be back!"

"This place is awesome! Kimberly ( campground manager) is extremely nice and down to earth. Paul (campground host) is a stand-up human being who will give his shirt off his back if you need it. The campground is smaller but cozy and it's shaded by oaks (which is preferred in the summer). Boat ramp was nice and has walking trails. the camp site I stayed in had water and electricity. I will definitely be returning!!!"

"Great place for family fun! Shoreline and beach access to the Peace River, boat ramp, overnight camping with a grill and running water at each site, nearby bathrooms with shower, nature trails galore! Staff are friendly, informative, and helpful."
