"Nice enough ramp. Beware, it's shallow. Better suited for kayaks and conoes. I launched my jon boat, but it's not a friendly stretch of the river for outboards. You may want to have a spare prop depending on how you run. Limestone bottom and banks throughout this stretch. If you have a jet, air boat, or surface drive you should be fine. You don't have to go too far upriver, or downriver before depths drop to below two feet, and at times below a foot. Water levels are low, and we're well into summer right now."

"A beautiful, postcard picture worthy place to visit. There were beautiful birds to see and picture. The campground looked very nice and there's a shower area as well. We were there too late in the day to drop the kayaks and take off but it looks like an amazing place to launch from."

"I did not use this boat ramp, but I stayed at the Campground here. I saw lots of canoes and kayaks. Some small motorized boats, as well. I wouldn't say that part of Peace River is meant for large boats though. If you tent camp or dry camp, this is a great place to camp and canoe. Restrooms with showers available. $15 a night"

"We went here to see the Wildlife refuge, but didn't realize they would be closed on good friday. We did however enjoy the walking trail and the hubby even tried some fishing. We did see some gators in the water, which was cool. We plan to come here for a camping trip."
