"The parking lot to start is just dam scary. If you would back your car up more than a car length in front of the store you would drive your car off a 3 foot wall falling onto the sidewalk and street below. There are metal bars on the doors I assume to keep criminals out at night. None of the meat I liked at seemed fresh. Almost everything was buy 1 get 1 free like they were trying to get rid of old meat. The meat looked old the store itself felt rundown. This is not somewhere I would buy food."

"Harvest Meat market is located on Berkley rd which intersects with HWY 92 by Walmart. They have a nice selection of produce, canned goods, frozen vegetables and meat along with a good selection of meat. Prime meat is available but you have to inquire. The butcher will custom cut anything you want. Prices are a little higher than Walmart but the quality of meat is much better. Not injected with water, always fresh. They have locations in lake wales, winter haven and lake Alfred. Worth a visit for organizations and family BBQ due to quality and quantity."

"Second time shopping at this location, both times we ended up with rotten meat. Just opened a pack of ribs we purchased from here and the entire house smells like rotten meat. I love the Lake Wales location and have never had a problem."

"Love coming here when I'm having a BBQ, so many selections of different meat, very reasonably priced and if you find something that is maybe a little more than you'd like they have no problem taking it in the back and cutting to your liking (they butcher in house which is a huge plus). I will be coming here every time I need meat."
