"November 27 2022 This family dollar never opened on that morning.I was outside for almost two hours and nobody ever showed up to opened the store. They lost a lot of customers that morning just because the store wasn't opened that morning and they never even gave a warning."

"It seems that I am always losing a lid to my tupperware style containers. So, I shop here whenever I need new containers. The store is clean, the staff is friendly. And my experiences here have been much better than at other dollar stores."

"I went to this store and could not believe the unprofessionalism. I had a 100 bill and the woman at the register had No change even though I had a little over $20 in items. She asked me if I had a credit card to pay instead. I told her no. Besides I dont want to pay interest on such a small amount on my card. I called the toll free number to complain and I am still on hold! It's been 58 minutes! I called the store back to talk to the manager and it was the SAME woman from my visit and she was the manager! Why would they not have change at 2pm on a Friday? Isn't that the managers job to make sure there is money in the register? There is NO sign that says no bills over $20. After talking to the woman, she told me she had no change. Also, if i was going to complain to make sure I tell corporate the whole story! Unbelievable! I asked for her name several times and she would not give it to me and then hung up on me! Great management! Well, I'm going to email them my complaint. I will NEVER go back to this store unless I get an apology. Please go somewhere else to shop and spend your hard earned money."

"I was shopping so very late Thursday evening, to be trying to prepare for the hurricane. Everyone was in a hurry, rushing, agitated, etc. However, there was the kindest, and most patient man working in the store in N. Nebraska Ave that day, Dan D. He took time, went outside and got us ice, went back around the counter to come open the door for me (as everyone in the store stared and watched me fight trying to push the two full buggies thru the front door that I couldn't possibly open). How refreshing! I asked about his situation and found out he lives in a mobile home. He had no idea if they had already begun evacuations in his area, if he would be able to get home, get out if he got in, etc. He was still doing such a great job! Yay. Thanks to those folks who are able to put themselves a side and be considerate even in the middle of a resident crisis. I will not forget this man!"
