"Honestly really disappointed. I’ve gotten a haircut from this place before and it was one of the best cuts I’ve gotten, but this time around I got the exact opposite. Clifford was my barber, and on top of little to no communication about the haircut, he completely misunderstood my instructions and destroyed my hair. I asked for an inch off the top, and he cut my hair down to an inch on the top. No confirmation, no checking to make sure what I wanted, just went ahead and cut. If that doesn’t say enough, the end result is a bad fade, sloppy part, and uneven length. I feel legitimately damaged from this haircut, and despite not tipping (bc why tip for terrible service) I still paid $42 for a haircut I wouldn’t get even if you paid me $100. My advice is choose your barber wisely here, bc not all barbers are created equal at this establishment. Get Gene himself, someone with actual passion for the craft who knows what he’s doing, not someone who left me with a haircut that makes me feel like I went to boot camp all over again."

"Probably the best High and Tight I've received. And I've received a lot of them. Ricky did an awesome job y'all. I can't say it enough. Great line-up and trim on my beard. "After searching endlessly for a barber to stick to in this small town, I ended up here at Gene's. This place came highly recommended from co-workers and it is hands-down the best haircut experience I've had. Gene was very respectful and friendly during the duration of the appointment and his other barbers made the atmosphere very easy-going and fun. Also got to see the old man, the legend himself, Chino! Most definitely will be a return customer, cannot recommend this place enough if you're in need of a haircut! Thanks for the fresh cut today Gene!"
