"Relaxing, photogenic park, situated on east shore of Lake Tarpon. Nice little dog park located within, off to the south. Separate boat ramp and paid parking to the left when you enter."
"Here's a great place for a short, quiet and peaceful walk in the shade, with great views and gator sightings. Unfortunately it looks like the gators are used to being fed by humans. This puts humans in danger, and well as the animals themselves. Please don't feed the wildlife!"
"Depending on where you go it’s can be super buggy. Other than that I love the woods and water. I’ve taken my pups to the dog park and even setup a proposal there!"
"We went today for a bit. It was too hot and buggy for us to stay very long, but the area was nice. Numerous shelters with grills, dog park, walking trail down by the water, views, restrooms, playground. We really enjoyed seeing the osprey nest and birds. It was an unexpected perk!"
"This is a neat park with lots of tables and bathrooms. The water views are picturesque. Today, we saw two juvenile alligators at the boardwalk area that swam right over to us. It’s obvious that people have been feeding them. The playground is small, but nice and the kids had fun playing on it. There are a couple short trails, but nothing major. Parking is free at the lots other than the boating area."
