"Water was cool! Felt great! Dont like the high wooden wall on the sandy side! Makes getting to the water and bank harder. Guess they are there for a reason like flooding or something like that so I get it but still!"

"Great little hidden gem! My son and I stayed here for a night in late December and it was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Only three of the camping spots were occupied during the time we were there. We were able to hang our sleeping hammocks right next to the river. The hosts were super awesome and so helpful! We will definitely be back. The river was at low stage at this time so the spring was a little mucky in places, but we splashed around in it a bit anyway. Would be awesome in summer and with the water at a higher level. Be sure to visit the Cottage Cafe in Old Town when you are in the area. Breakfast there was a real treat!"
