"Ahhhhh, Turtle Spring is a little bit of heaven. Located on the Santa Fe River, it is public so there’s no cost associated with it. We were boating - with 12 of our friends on one boat! - on this particular Saturday, which is really the only way to reach the Spring unless you take a long walk through the woods. We beached the boat at the mouth of this small, beautiful, crystal clear, 76° boil and settled in for lunch and a swim. You usually can’t get your boat near the spring on a Saturday, but the day was overcast so there was only one other boat there! Bottom line? Boating on the Suwannee near Ellie Ray’s?
