"Easy short, mostly shaded hike to see the historic remains of the trestle."

"Lovely short, interpretive, and free trail. Shaded enough to walk on a summer afternoon. Saw a few butterflies and learned about the coastal plants that grow in the area. Trash receptacles at both ends encourage people to be responsible with their garbage. Nice kiosk with some historical information and nice view at the end. The love of this trail is shown by its caretakers. Parking is limited to a few cars, 5 if people park wisely, though I doubt it gets used enough to be an issue. No restrooms."

"Very simple but nice .6 mile trail down an 1930's abandoned railroad causeway. Shade most of the way with simple benches along the way. Lots of birds when I walked down."

"Cool little half mile walk to the worn down railroad trestle pylons. Lots of informative signs about the flora, also lots of birds, saw egrets, roseate spoonbills, gulls, et al... If you're in Cedar Key, take a moment to experience some history... Bring a trash bag, help keep the area clean..."

"Cute town..kinda sleepy.. if you don't have a boat and don't fish make sure your hotel/motel/timeshare has a pool as there is no real beach. Great food all over downtown though!"
