"First, let me say, we have been going to this Barber Shop for close to two years. Kathy, our haircutter, is wonderful. The 1/5 stars is because of the way John, the business owner, responded to me. We keep our hair short; a haircut takes approximately 30 minutes, or less. We're charged $40 a haircut. However, when I asked John why men's haircuts -- hair styles that take more than one hour (for example, a skin fade) -- were only $35, John stated, "that's the system ... that's how you do business ... if you don't like it, you can always go some place else...." The amount of the haircut no longer became the issue, but the way we were treated overshadowed everything. Very dissappointing. We have both been business owners for many years, and if we ever treated any of our customers the way we were treated today, we wouldn't have remained in business very long. In response to your reply: First, it wasn't August, it was late September. Secondly, we accepted it on good faith -- not that your pricing was based on gender specifics. Lastly, you seem to forget that respect works both ways. Also, it is illegal to offer a senior discount to only men and not to women."

"Aw man this is a great barbershop. I really enjoy the family feel to it. Javier is who i did business with and in short, he's a great stand up guy. He's not only skilled in his craft but he's also enthusiastic and you can tell he enjoys his work and his time here. I didn't catch the owners name but the man makes you feel like he's an uncle you hadn't seen in years and is always happy to see you. Great place overall *Chef's kiss*"
