"Do not back down to far boat ramp drops off and could damage your trailer 21ft boat launched fine and loaded fine but seen some have issues by going to far"

"My family and i love this park to launch our boat..they have picnic tables..portable restrooms and nice oak trees for shade.. the only thing is they need more parking spaces for trailers.. i would even pay for parking if they enlarged the area to leave your boat trailer..cause if you park on the side of the road.. you get a ticket.."

"Good launch, great location, only room for 12 truck and trailers.. There are no parking signs along the road for 1/2 mile from the launch. Good luck getting one of those spots..."

"Launched our 25 Sea Hunt with no problem at the boat ramp. The park is nice and has a nice long dock to accommodate many boats. Really wish parking was a bit better but the ramp and park were built to meet the needs of the Josephine residents which is a small community."

"A hidden gem! Large boat ramp, docks, outdoor pavilion, portapotty, shade. You can launch motorboats or paddle craft from this location, or fish from its many docks. Swimming is prohibited - beware of snakes! This is a great spot to put in a kayak and paddle around Roberts Bayou, paddle around the bend to Pirate's Cove where you can stop and have lunch, or head out into open Bayou Saint John if you dare."
