Monarch Country Club

"Lived here for 10 years and it is an excellent community. The club is a great place to unwind or have a meal. The menu contains the items you would expect, some comfort food and some surprises - once a week is Chef's Day where they try new recipes. The golf course is beautifully maintained and just difficult enough to be a challenge, and most parties move through nicely - never had to ask to play through. The exercise room is great - added a few years ago and has everything you need to stay in shape. An interesting detail - if you start at the gate and proceed into the community, every corner you come to, make a right. You'll go down lanes and around culs-de-sac and eventually you'll be back at the front gate. It is exactly 10 miles. So walking, running, cycling, skating - a 10 mile course is right there at home. Just keep making right turns. It's a non-equity club, so you don't have to join. The monthly fees are within the moderate range and I think you get a lot for your money. If you have the means I would recommend Monarch."

"Nice country club to play golf at. Guard gate can get a bit congested but once in, it’s very enjoyable. Facilities were nice. Range had nice balls and was well kept. Practice areas included putting, chipping, sand and pitch areas. Staff was on the ball and very friendly. Course was well manicured and fair. Holes at times were spread out a bit but I’m a cart not so long away. Private but memberships available."
