"Exceptional service great cut and shave. Sonny gave me the best cut I have had in years. The look was 50’s old school high and tight, left some weight on top to style. Not cheap by any means but you get what you pay for. Looks like I need to re-budget manscaping. Cheaper than plastic surgery. Looked 10 years younger after this cut."

"Barber did not look at the picture I showed him. Horrible service. Honestly just did not care in what he was doing. Left random hair uncut all over my face and neck. He completely redid my hair style. Used to have good experiences years ago at the Lakewood Ranch original location but this one obviously is trash since it’s supposed be the master barber. Paid $80 for a haircut that I have to go home and fix now. What a joke."

"I am pretty picky about my hair and who cuts it since I usually go 4+ weeks before I can return for cuts/style. I held off on doing a review for a year as I rate these type of establishments differently than I would do a restaurant review. Atmosphere is extremely clean and the lounge are in the front is very well kept with nice leather couches and chairs to sit it along with some popular quality products to look at. Receptionists are always professional and nice. "Do I want a drink you ask?" Well of course, so typically I head to the back area with a bar and more seating along with TVs and if you want you can even grab a cigar and go out front to enjoy one after your cut/style. Beer, Wine, and some single mixers are available along with Seltzers and some Spiked coffee drinks. Very clean as well and your front Receptionist is your bartender. Moving onto the important part, the person who I trust with my hair and look. Let me just say Joe is freakin AWESOME! I couldn't be happier! Joe takes his time, makes sure every angle looks great, the cut is to my liking, and I don't have those random hairs that tend to like to stick out after a shave or fade. HIGHLY Recommend Modern Gents in the UTC Mall area, and ask for JOE!"

"I’ve been here multiple times, it’s always been either Ok, or sub-par. Prices are as if we were in NYC or Dubai, and I’ve yet to have a good haircut in 2-3 trips. Price is one thing, I understand that due to location this may be the reality. However, today I paid over $70 including tip for haircut + beard. When I got home and looked at my jawline I was infuriated. This shouldn’t happen when you pay close to $100 for a damn haircut. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Unless you’d like to just say you got your haircut at UTC. I would have been better off at any neighborhood Supercuts."

"This place is cool. And by cool, I mean is one of the few places you can get a quality straight blade trim. Oh, and there is a bar inside. Definitely has the feel of a high-quality gentleman establishment. Adrian took great care of me and was professional and friendly. 10/10 recommended"
