"Outstanding course! So well kept and great rates. We come here on almost a weekly basis because it is always in such great shape all year long. There are several courses with 36 full size between the Legends and Reserve. Legends is probably the best only because Reserve is a little tight being placed more in the middle of a lot of the vacation units. Legends has a little more space and room for error. Both are excellent, though. Cannot go wrong with either!"
"We've been owners since 2007 at River Island. We've seen big changes every year since then...and not always for the better! No towel cabanas around the pool anymore, prices for drinks almost doubled, food expensive, staff not particularly helpful ( I'll make an exception for West Village staff who seem more accommodating and pleasant). The rooms have always been of a very good standard and the grounds are beautiful however, the maintenance fees each year for international owners like us who visit once a year; are extortionate. There is always a feeling that the staff are watching all the time and yet nothing seems to be happening to address the blatant use of drugs ( weed ) , where for the past few years we have had to suffer the pungent smell wafting around the apartments and around the pool area. The overall standard has declined and they've now added to that by renaming the resort ' Holiday Inn Club Vacations'. Sounds like something from National Lampoon's Vacation franchise....Shame."
"What a fun place! Music, views, pools, friendly staff...rooms are a bit dated, but otherwise really enjoyed a couple of days here. Improvements needed would be to update the rooms and softer pillows!"
