"They give very good haircuts for reasonable prices. This has been my preferred barber shop for years. Twice I have tried to go recently and they closed at least 30 minutes early on Saturday. If they had better and more consistent hours on weekends, I would give 5 stars."
"I've been a regular customer at this barber shop for the past few months. I've always had good experience with the other barbers, but this time I was assigned to a new barber named Ray. I was very disappointed with his service. First, he turned the chair around so I couldn't see in the mirror what he was doing. Second, he didn't check with me to see if what he was doing was what I wanted. He just started cutting and assumed I would like it. When I told him I wanted some changes, he got annoyed and he was really rough towards the end with the trimmer, which left me bruised in the neck area. I did ask him to make couple of minor changes, which I don’t think is unusual and no other barber have had any issues in the past. In the end, not only did Ray do a poor job, he overcharged me by 60% from the posted prices. I don't mind paying extra for good service, but demanding that I pay 160% of the list price is a bad business practice. Every other time, I have tipped generously for the good service I have received from the other barbers at this shop. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with Ray. I would not recommend him."
"After a long train ride I was looking for a good place for a haircut. This was just perfect. Well priced and very professional and friendly staff. I really liked the little bowl my barber had for me to put my hearing aids in. A simple but great idea."
