If I Brewed the World

"My friend and I went there for the first time last Saturday and I wish I could say it was a positive experience. When we walked in, the bartender did not greet us or look up from what he was doing even when we found 2 seats at the bar sitting directly in front of him. We were using a Pub Pass, of which we informed the bartender ahead of time. He made no comment about certain beers not being available to use until we asked him specifically. We asked for a couple of samples and then ordered a beer each. The beer I received was so flat that there was zero carbonation, which made it completely undrinkable. It tasted so bad that I left an almost full glass on the counter when we left. My friend made a comment that it was flat and the bartender's response was "the last line was ok, this one is fine as well." No offer to exchange it for something else or acknowledge that there was an issue (even though he could clearly see there was). I have been to dozens of breweries around Hillsborough and Pinellas county and have never encountered such dismissive service. If I didn't have another beer pass to use, I would not return to this establishment. And I enjoy supporting our local breweries every chance I get. To the owner: thank you for your response; however I checked the Pub Pass and there is no mention of non carbonated beers. Also, my friend had the IPA and her beer was well carbonated. So unfortunately, that rationale does not apply to this situation."

"All I can say is 'WOW' about the beer. Very creative and the cereal beers taste like the cereal. Brewers that can get the translation on point from food to brew are exceptional at what they do. I highly recommend trying all their beers - it's like being on a little beer journey and having your mind totally blown. Such a fun little place, with hidden nooks and crannies and a great outdoor space in the back. A must stop while you are in town!"

"Cool little spot with a lot of character.. Smaller taproom but they have a game room as well as a good sized outdoor space. Nettie the brewery cat is an awesome Ambassador. Good selection of varied beer styles. Everything I tried was solid. Apparently I missed the speak easy ish door? ? ... B+ overall for me."

"Must go, the variety of flavors is amazing! Just as good as the old school hip hop music they were playing. . secret speak easy like doors posing a bookcases, soo fun. . .and the brewer was a great guy..can't wait to go back soon.."

"The latest brewery to open in St. Petersburg in 2018. Kevin is brewing like crazy to keep their 11 beers on tap flowing. They have a happy hour Monday thru Friday from 3PM till 6PM. I'm looking forward to what the future holds for this small brewery and tap room."
