"Had a wonderful experience here a few years ago. I had a cocktail that was simply transcendent and I’ve been thinking about it since. I’ve told so many friends about it. So, on a recent, spontaneous birthday trip to St. Pete this bar was on the ticket! I was so excited to come back. However, my most recent trip to Saigon Blonde was, let’s say, lackluster. It was a slow weekday night, hardly 6 patrons total and we were spoken to with a shrug of the shoulders by the bartender when I inquired about said cocktail that I so desired to taste again. The decor is great but the atmosphere was as cold as the stuffed gator hanging from the ceiling. And I love gators. RIP. The staff didn’t even seem to want to be there. I’ve worked in front of house/service my whole career but the hospitality here was simply not it. Okay, maybe a bad shift? But my boyfriend asked for a non alcoholic drink to which the bartender said they could make anything. When he asked for a coke they responded, “We don’t have coke.” No options provided. Not even Pepsi. Okay, you have to laugh at that! The artwork & decor is cool & the history of a safe haven bar during war is cooler… but this is sadly no longer at the top of my suggested stops in St. Pete."

"Went there for weekend mid-day cocktails and it was great. The drinks we had were part of their speciality cocktails and it was cool seeing ingredients common in Asian cooking are flavors in these cocktails. The bartender was quick making these drinks, they looked gorgeous and tasted even better. Tropical/jungle vibes with the decor, with ambient mood lighting the deeper you go in. Can imagine this place being busy during peak times at nights on the weekend. Parking available at garages a few blocks down, with limited street parking down Central Ave."

"Probably my new favorite place EVER! Definitely making it on the list of best rum old fashions and overall best vibe. Went on a busy Sunday downtown during the races and it was very quiet. Enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle of the busy street. Bartender Tiffany was awesome and very personable. Offer some drink suggestions and chatted with us a bit before we cashed out. Music was super low key and chill. Atmosphere was awesome and there was a LOT to look at. Fun and funky drink wear. Comfortable seating and some couch areas to spread out and relax. Two bar areas for times. Also have some CBD drink options as well."
