"Review I am new to the South Florida Area and have been searching for a good colorist and I was referred to Dirty Blond Salon through a Facebook group. My intent in sharing my opinion and review is to spread knowledge, this salon has a NO REFUND POLICY. Even if the service is very terrible and I am embarrassed to go out in public. Everyone that I encountered at the salon was very kind, attentive and friendly. I visited the salon for a base, highlights and cut. Another factor that I was not used to is the salon is set up that the stylist that does the color does not do the cut- so you see 2 separate individuals, based on their specialty. My cut was average. It is unfortunate and I am very bummed but, my color is terrible- The base is darker than my normal hair. The highlights do not blend naturally throughout my hair. There are spots where there are no highlights and just the dark base, so when I pull my hair pack you can see patches. The highlights do not go to my scalp and it already looks as if I need my hair redone. Where I part my hair there is a huge gap; one side is the highlights other side is the dark base. I am very disappointed as I am pregnant, and it took a lot for me to go out and sit in a salon for many hours to get my hair done. I am embarrassed to pull my hair back or go out in public as it just looks awful. After my visit the salon did call to see how my experience was and I was honest and told them the truth. They did offer to redo my hair to make it right. But I chose to decline for numerous reasons; I don’t want to sit again in a salon for a long period of time while pregnant and high risk. I don’t want my hair to be damaged from too much processing, and I don’t trust that the salon/colorist will do a better job. I would have been more pleased with a refund which was not offered."
