"I have been getting keratin straightening treatments for a decade. I currently live in Boston, but I try to make it down to Florida a few times a year and have Bonnie Bernstein cut my hair as she cuts it like no one else! She is a true artist. This time when I was down, she noticed that my hair was pretty frizzy, as it had been a while since I had gotten keratin. She mentioned that a new stylist in the salon, Francesco Carta, was doing keratin treatments with a new product that was a much healthier option than the Brazilian blowout I have been using. I decided to go for it, and I have to say I was wildly impressed! Not only was Francesco a delight to chat with, but the keratin product he used on my hair was like none other. It had no smell and no fumes upon blow drying or flat ironing. It felt incredibly gentle and, it didn’t cause irritation to my nose and eyes the way the Brazilian blowout does. I thought, “no way can this be as good as my regular product because it seems so gentle“. Boy was I wrong. The royal keratin that Francesco uses is amazing. His application is quick and flawless, as was the blow drying and flat ironing part of the process. Now, not only do I have to make appointments a few times a year to fly down to Florida to have Bonnie cut my hair, but I will also have to have Francesco do my keratin treatments.
