"If you're like me you have experienced a general decline in customer service in recent years . Not at Tropical Island Pools! I have considerable experience in this technology. Rebecca and Stephan EXCEEDED my expectations. Both are very knowledgeable , responsive and helpful. Stephan really thinks through the installation and considers future service accessibility. He installed a new variable speed pump technology that was integrated into a central control system. Stephan handled the situation and I now have a wonderful new system that I control and monitor with my phone. They installed a new Gulfstream Pool Heater and a brand new Pentair Inteliflo3- VSF state of the art variable speed pump. There response was swift, competitive and punctual. What's new--You can set the RPM and/or the flow rate you want for different functions. The Capacity and Cop advertised by any heater manufacturer is based on a flow rate (GPM) not a speed (RPM). So with this new pump you can set a flow rate (GPM) whenever the heater is on and then at reduced RPM when the pool is just circulating water which is most of the time. This yields operating the heater where it is designed to perform. With old pumps you didn't know what the flow rate was. A Pentair Home app lets you see real time the speed, flow rate and Est power when ever you want on your smart phone. For example my system is running at 39% speed , 34 GPM and uses only 144 watts for normal everyday circulation. It's like running a 150 watt light bulb- $$$ savings. I highly recommend Tropical Island pools and this new Pentair technology."
