"Worst haircut I’ve ever had. I had never been here before and it looked like a good salon with good reviews. I guess I got the least experienced stylist (Maddy). I have naturally curly, thick hair - which is how it was when I arrived. She asked if I normally had it cut wet or dry. I told her they always shampoo and cut it wet. I’ve never had anyone even ask to cut it dry. She told me she would cut it dry and proceeded to brush out my curls, use thinning shears on my entire head, then shampoo and blow dried it with a flat brush and flat iron. Then she attempted to cut it dry and straight(semi straight since she didn’t do a great job at straightening it with just a flat brush). When she was done I told her it still wasn’t even, she tried to fix it but it kept getting shorter and shorter, so I asked her to bring over a more senior stylist. The other stylist attempted to fix it but had a client waiting for her so it was rushed. I left and when I got home, I realized it still wasn’t even! And the layers were very sharp. I thought I was being dramatic but my husband and friend said it looked terrible. I called to ask for someone else to fix it but they didn’t have anyone who would be able to wash it and start over. They would only cut it dry and “fix what I didn’t like”. If I wanted to start over with a wash and blow dry then they would charge me again and I’d have to wait until the next week for an appt. I asked for a refund and to speak with the owner. They called back and said someone suddenly available to fix it starting with a fresh wash. I had already rescheduled at another salon. I emailed the owner and she said she would call me but never did. Next time I’ll be sure to ask what their experience level is before I schedule with someone new."
