"I've been going here since the day it opened in 2008. They offered free haircuts for one day and I was there! Over the years, I've had different stylists but my favorite is Nicole and she's back! She was my Stylist for my free cut and I stuck with her for 3-4 years until I moved out of the area. When I came back I was disappointed to find out she had moved on. She just came back over the summer and I'm so happy! She stills gives me the best haircut, highlights, color I've ever had! She slays cuts! The most simple layers to super technical inverted bobs to even designing a pixie with me for me!! Yeah, it's a corporate chain-like salon but that really doesn't matter. It's the individual Stylist that matters..... private, corporate franchise aren't performing the services, the stylist is. Hair Cuttery uses Redken color and offers an excellent variety of salon professional products to use at home. Prices are reasonable and within market. And Nicole does a consult with me each visit to hear what I want. She really is a talented Stylist. I've had 1 or 2 over the years that didn't provide the same level of care or expertise and I just knew not to go back to that particular Stylist. This location seems to be coming back up. Covid did a number on salons and affected our Stylists long after it interfered and left our lives. This is a solid location, with great Stylists who offer fun visits. Nicole and the Stylists who work with her always seem to be having fun! If you're looking for your neighborhood salon, try this one! I recommend my girl, Nicole because she rocks at what she does.... but I see others there that know what they're doing. Definitely worth a visit! I usually book my appointments online with ease, but with all computer programs that aren't perfect, I make a quick call to confirm. Good hair over here!!!"

"I’d like to preface this by stating I do not leave bad reviews. I normally don’t waste my energy. However, it’s been 24 hours and I am still fighting back tears every time I look in the mirror or touch my hair. I have been growing my hair out for a few years. My appointment was originally made for highlights, a surprise Xmas gift from my mom. However, when I got to the salon I had a bad feeling and didn’t feel comfortable having any color done there. So I asked for just a simple trim to clean up the dead ends since I was there and didn’t want to bail on the appointment all together. Way too much length was taken off, which I couldn’t see because most of the cutting was being done behind me. When I was asked how much to take off I was shown less than 2 inches and I agreed to that. That is not what was taken off. I wouldn’t mind having shorter hair if the cut itself was decent. But I was left with a choppy mess. Every piece is a different length, no matter how I wear it you can tell it’s a disaster. While she was blowing it out, the brush she insisted on using kept frizzing and knotting my hair, resulting in multiple clumps being broken off. I hid my disappointment because what’s the point in lashing out? It was already done and it’s Christmas. I paid $55 for it and still tipped generously. Hopefully this will be a warning to someone else so they don’t have the same experience. Now I am just really sad because I have two choices… wait 6 months to a year for it to grow out and have it fixed (my hair does not grow quickly) or try to have it fixed sooner which would require taking even more length off and spending more money. I feel this place does great service for their older clientele. But I am not that demographic unfortunately."

"Ok, so let me start by saying I never thought of Hair Cuttery as an upscale salon or a salon that has experienced stylist I’ve always been told that Hair Cuttery is chain salon where beginner stylist start their career!! WELL, I FEEL SILLY FOR EVER LISTENING TO THAT STATEMENT!! So my stylist was a woman named Nichole and she was phenomenal not only did she know and understand she listened to me and took the time to give me that million dollar haircut and color she was amazing helpful friendly answered every question I had and really transformed my look she went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations she doesn’t know this yet but she is now my only stylist I hope this isn’t to much I don’t usually go into detail like this but she impressed me. So Nichole if you see this thank you! Thank you you did a great job and I’ll definitely be seeing you again.,. Go see Nichole at hair Cuttery @ Surfside Shops In Cape Coral!!!!"

"Staff is phenomenal, the place is awesome and my hair was done by Nicole. She did my hair just the way I wanted it. I highly recommend her and I definitely am going to book my appointment every month from now on with her. She's the best!"
