Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa

"***UPDATE--We received a brand new replacement unit two weeks ago. The item we have is still sold at the store. I mistakenly said it wasn't because we didn't see any at the store. The owner seemed to be more upset that I left the review than how we were being treated. They sent a crew out to clean the pool once for us also. We still purchase our pool supplies from here weekly because of Joseph and all the other helpful employees. I am glad this has finally been resolved. But it should not have taken me writing a review going to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General to get this resolved. I CHANGED FROM 1 STAR TO 3 STARS SINCE THE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED AND WE LOVE THE EMPLOYEES HERE. We spent $865 in January on a robotic pool cleaner. It worked for 5 months. While Joseph has been extremely helpful, as of today and numerous phone calls and visits, we still have a broken machine. We've waited patiently they've had the machine over 3 weeks for repair. The saddest part is we are frequent customers and only purchased the item based upon their recommendation. To date, Joseph is the only person who has shown concern. The owners have not reached out at all. I would never spend another penny at this store. They are scammers and certainly do not care about the quality of items they are selling. I am sure it's no surprise they no longer sell the item they recommended to us. I am filing a claim with the Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. It's sad that we are out $865 and no one is taking responsibility. Spend your money elsewhere. Definitely not here."

"As of today, my husband and I still have not heard from Rich or Erin regarding the defective Maytronics robotic pool cleaner. We went to the store on Labor Day. Each employee is well aware of our issue and are embarrassed that the machine has not been replaced. Rich lied he only called me after I posted the review. He was more upset that I posted the review that he was about our problem. A week has gone by and my husband and I still have no help. Do not spend your money here. We have purchased a pool pump and all our pool supplies from this store since 2015. Shame on you both Rich and Erin. You will lose a lot more than the $859 because you choose to disregard my husband and I and note take care of us. I have worked retail and your customers in the store with us and all your employees can not believe the poor treatment we have been given. How do people like you sleep at night. I pray God will have mercy on you."

"I can’t say enough good things about this store. The employees, Joseph and Logan have given me extraordinary service every time I’ve been in the store, including helping me to the car, because I have physical disabilities. I’ve had an issue with my Pintar vacuum cleaner, there knowledge on the product and their effort and patience with me. It’s rare that you find customer service like this anymore. My hats off to the owner of the establishment to find a staff that cares and goes out of their way to the customer."

He very thoroughly explained everything I asked him about chemicals needed for my hot tub/ swim spa.
