Blue Sky Enclosures

"We are highly disappointed with our entire experience with Blue Sky Enclosures & feel cheated. We contracted for a screened in porch. 1. It was more than a month later than the promised schedule. 2. The Concrete was not screeded flat resulting in chairs and table that rock, & a door that hits the high spot and does not open fully. 3. The door frame is not square & catches at the top resulting in a door that will not fully close without extra pulling. 4. The porch roof was screwed to the facia of the building, rather than placed under the soffit, the roof pitch is not proper, & the joint was not properly flashed with roofing materials resulting in serious leaks. Refer to pictures... 5. The wire for the porch light was cut off by Chad at only 2 inches resulting in the need to rerun another wire.6. Finally, the porch was not sealed to the house as promised resulting in hornets getting into the porch on a regular basis. Refer to pictures... Nearly every facet of the porch build has a problem. When I contact Chad to address the problems he does not respond as a professional to a valued client. We are still waiting months for any type of repair... Chad definitely overpromises on his skills and capabilities. After reading the business owner's response you can see that he is not an honorable person who stands behind his word. The workmanship guarantee he discusses with you is just words. The entire point of my discussion above is this (THE PORCH SHOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECTLY INSTALLED AND OPERATING FOR THE INTENDED USE PRIOR TO YOU COLLECTING YOUR MONEY)...You can see from his response how he pushes responsibility for ALL of the problems with this porch on to the buyer and all I did was rerun a wire that he cut too short to use... that did not create ANY of the shortfalls in your work...You should be ashamed to take advantage of old people like you do and your word means nothing. You have cheated me and you know it."
