"This is the owner of salon Joseph Michael. As far as the two bad reviews. First Tiffany came in with two and a half inch roots and wanted A platinum color. With that much of a root coverage, the volume of developer had to be elevated to get it as light as she wanted because lightener only processes from the scalp to 1/2 inch out. She did have a slight reaction yes but it was nothing serious at all and she should know this being a RN. I also offered to fix the color at no charge with something that was completely vegetable, and vegan that would not have affected Her scalp at all. And the problem Would have been solved, she declined. She was also instructed by me not to wash her hair for at least 48 hours. In which she did, which created more harm than good on her scalp and caused the toner at the roots to fade out before it had time to cure. Cheap shampoo will also do this after a heavy bleaching. Her hair was not damaged as I only lightened the root area. As for Rachel After her bangs were cut, she insisted that they match the sides and be angled I have video recordings in my Salon of both these situations where the clients left and they were happy And Rachel understood that it just had to grow out a little bit more. People don’t tell you the whole story. I do. Some people just are never satisfied as we always make are clients happy. If they don’t say anything how can we help?"

"Not happy. Wanted to color my hair all one color with some highlights framing my face and a few on top. (foils) He said he was using “chocolate”, but there is so much red in my hair and I hate it. The foils that he put on top are barely there, and there are more on one side with fewer on the other side once it’s parted. Not even. Also cut my hair angling in front. He cut the sides so short I can’t pull it back now. All in all needs to be redone. I must say, the owner of the salon is a bit intimidating in my personal opinion. At least I felt uncomfortable as he was watching his partner do my hair. He came over at the end to try to fix it because he saw him angle it wrong when he cut it. Now it’s just too short and I have to wait till it grows out to be able to pull it back. And I told him that I pull it back in a braid to get it out of my face and now I’m left with what I have. I asked for a flat iron, and he said I always flat iron after I blow dry. But he didn’t have the heat turned up very much and my hair was frizzy by the time I got home. I have a lot of hair, so it is a pricey endeavor whenever I go in for haircut, color, and highlights. I still gave him a nice tip bc he did try to do the job. I believe I needed a longer consult before I let him come near me with scissors"

"Didn’t get close to the color I provided. My hair is fried, I got a chemical burn on my scalp. My hair also looks like it was cut by a second grader. I can’t get anyone to fix my hair for at least a month because of the damage"
