"Had a great experience with getting my nails done on thursday afternoon. i am in a wedding sunday and was getting them done for the occasion and friday evening ( 1 day after i had them done) 3 nails broke . I called in at 6:15pm in a panic to see if they can fix them as the wedding is sunday morning . i explained i can’t come saturday i work from 7am -6pm and she said they can’t help me and the tech that was there is on her last client - they close at 8pm . i begged her and she said sorry . $ 65 down the drain and now thanks to my local nail salon down the street they fixed there mistake . so disappointed ***update*** saturday morning i was adjusting my a/c knob in my truck and another nail popped off"

"I DO NOT recommend Profiles Nail Salon on Pine Island in Cape Coral. They added an additional UNAUTHORIZED $4.41 service charge to my $125.00 mani pedi charge. I did not see the charge on my receipt until after I left salon. I called and questioned the receptionist about it. She said “oh that’s an extra fee if you pay by credit card. There’s a small sign up but it’s easy to miss”. I told her that I was a new client and when I called to schedule my appointment I stated I was a new client. I should have been told about the fee and to bring cash. Also, I should have been told about the fee before I was charged out. The receptionist agreed and said the owner would call me because she was not authorized to refund me. One of the owners (Chelsea or Tasha) called me 3 days later. At first she said she couldn’t refund me because it was too late then she changed her tune and said she didn’t know how to put the refund back on my credit card. After I explained that it’s a simple procedure to issue refunds on the credit card machine (I’ve owned a business), the owner agreed to refund me the service fee. After 2 weeks, I still had not received the refund so I called my credit card company and was promptly credited the service fee. These owners are greedy and unprofessional. I’m not going to support this business that charges it’s customers junk fees. The extra money they are making from these fees are not being invested back into the salon. The nail techs and customers are crowded together and the finishes are cheaply done. If you are looking for a relaxing spa like experience, this isn’t it! Regarding my mani pedi, it normally takes 2 hours for a gel refill and pedicure. I was at this salon for 4 hours. Although the nail tech was a new graduate she was very nice and I thought she did a good job. It’s a shame these business owners don’t value their customers and see nothing wrong with charging junk fees."
