"They killed our dog! Their company was negligent and left our gate open, allowing our dog to get out and be hit by a car. There was no excuses! There are signs on our gate and they have been ask repeatedly to make sure the gate is locked. We have a special needs child, it could have been worse! It could have our child getting hit by a car, because of their negligence! They have been less than stellar in their handling of this as well. To top it off, They have also ruined our pool deck by dropping the chemicals they use to check balances on the pool. When brought to their attention they say they will fix it and have never followed through. Stellar company if you’re into having your family put through hell."

"Highly recommend Orca Pools for control work Chris did on our pool, the original controls were not done well at all. He gave us an estimate and Michelle worked with us to refine our wants/desires. On the scheduled day Chris arrived on time and installed the controls and explained to us all the details we could absorb in one appointment. The controls work perfectly and are user friendly. We may be switching to Orca for our weekly servicing as well as I understand they are very thorough, our current service is not thorough and only interested in getting in and out to meet their daily quota of 10-15 pools. "Unfortunately I would not recommend this company for your pool needs. On Friday, July 14th Chris came to our new home to look at the current set-up. We knew there were some issues and asked for a quote to get everything working and replace the items that were not as well as convert the pool to salt. The entire experience was unpleasant and uncomfortable. He was condescending and arrogant, spending the entire time talking down to us as if we were total idiots, which is not the case. You can speak kindly and professionally while speaking on a subject matter you're an expert in to those who are not, I do it daily. At one point my young child (Not even in Kindergarten yet) came out and was curious as to who he was. We just moved so things have been chaotic, and he did not introduce himself first as he normally does. This man took it upon himself to correct my child and try to "teach him manners". After taking a few minutes to look at our system, he declared it all unsafe and outdated. He told us not to allow anyone in the pool. He continued to try and upsell us to the automated systems, ignoring the fact our ask was to just get it running, but no big deal we could consider that. Even said we would be unable to find the parts to replace what we have and if we did how it would be very expensive (We were able to find them and the cost was not outlandish at all - few hundred dollars). He even warned us that when we received the quote it would be "sticker shock". Before he left, he said since it was Friday (the 14th) he would have a quote to us on the following Monday, Tuesday at the latest. Monday and Tuesday came and went with no communication. We tried to call - no answer. Sent a few texts - no reply. Here it is the 25th, and still nothing. How do you tell a family that their pool is dangerous and not to use it until its corrected but then never follow up? I can deal with someone being rude, but the service and follow-through have to match. Unfortunately this is not our experience. After continuing to do research we were able to clear our pool up and get it balanced and are working on fixing the electrical and other issues."
