About the Business
Cafe Karibo is a beloved family-owned restaurant located at 27 North 3rd Street in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Since 2001, we have been serving up creative and handmade fare in a relaxed and friendly setting. Our eclectic palette of colors and furnishings create a unique ambiance that is perfect for enjoying a meal with friends and family.
Our large garden patio, shaded by huge oak trees, offers a beautiful space to dine and enjoy the outdoors. Whether you're looking to try our Blue Lump Crab Cakes with Cranberry Chutney or our Tuna tini, there's something on our menu for everyone to enjoy.
Please note that Cafe Karibo does not accept advance reservations. With 60% of our seating outdoors, we are subject to the unpredictable nature of the weather. During peak times or on holiday weekends, there may be a delay in seating, but our host will notify you via text when your table becomes available.
If you're dining with a group of up to 20 guests, our host may offer to split your group into smaller tables to seat you faster. For larger groups, please email our General Manager at least one week in advance to inquire about a group venue.

"We enjoyed a private dinner in the Cafe Karibo event space upstairs, with food, drinks and service provided by the Cafe's chefs and staff. The event was a huge success, and the food and service were nothing short of exceptional. Just check out the special menu and photos and know that it was a truly memorable night. We already loved Karibo for their Sunday brunch food and dog-friendly patio, and I've been here many times for lunch with friends which were all great. But the talent showcased last night put the restaurant in a new light for me. Thanks to everyone involved. "Such a great place. Local gem. Great restaurant, gorgeous patio area, friendly and fast service. The crab dip was awesome, the shrimp salad just like my Southern grandmother made. Everything we had was fantastic and fairly priced. Don’t forget dessert!"
