"This State Park is a bit different...doesn't have any restrooms or an area to wash what not but it has a generous walking trail around the lakes to wonderful nature. Dogs are welcomed! Oh and bring your own poop or scoop bag since they do not have any to offer inside the trails. It does tend to get a bit muddy especially after the rain like most forestry area in Florida so come prepared back packing."

"The trail i did go on was very overgrown and not taken care of very well, beautiful nature but i didn't have high boots on so i didnt want to risk snakes. I did see a few. Limited parking as well, no bathrooms or water."

"Don’t go here if you are looking for a developed park with a defined hiking trail BUT!!! Go here if you want to get away from people and see nature without hearing cars. I loved this park. There Weren’t any humans there. You have to park in a small sandy lot off to the side of the road. It’s by a little bridge and there is a boat ramp there. Along the road there are different paths which have a gate, these are the paths into the park. We loved it! We saw Turkey vultures, an armadillo, herons, all sorts of birds really... there is a little path leading away from the parking lot that loops around a small peninsula which has some nice sights of mangroves. All in all it was very nice and I would go again! I would say it’s a great place for kayaking and also hiking but maybe not the best for biking as the trails seem to be a bit muddy and bumpy"
