"It's a nice park with good parking and a number of paths you can walk on. There are some swings, picnic benches and covered pavilions. There is also a cool old fort if you're willing to take a little walk to get to it. The scenery is just what you'd expect at a quality Florida state park... A nice way to spend an hour or three..."

"Really cool park off the Withlacoochee bike trail. The park has trails to walk or ride. Restrooms and picnic areas available. There's a small fee to enter the park $2 per cyclist if entering from the bike trail. It's definitely worth the fee if you want to get off the beaten path. The trail loops are dirt but easy to walk or ride. Lots of big live oaks for shade. Overall great park to visit."

"We celebrated my mom's 80th birthday at the lodge and had a wonderful time. The lodge was clean and we really enjoyed the indoor market lights. Penny was very easy to work with and all of the rangers were very friendly. My niece loved the playground and when we went outside to take pictures, we saw a family of sand cranes including a baby! Thank you for maintaining such a lovely park for all to enjoy!"

"What a beautiful park! I fell in love with this place. So quiet and peaceful. Lots of picnic tables and grills to use. Restrooms on site. Some nice trails. Decent playground for kids in the shade of the trees. You can't go wrong spending a few hours here. The view to the lake is so relaxing. I highly recommend you at least stop by to see the wonderful natural settings of this park."
