"The whole process with Hudson’s was a pleasant experience. We purchased the entertainment center but were not ready for delivery at that time, Chad worked with us to hold it until we were ready. Once we were ready for delivery we received it in a few days. The delivery team was prompt (early actually) . kind, polite, respectful of our property and worked efficiently. "When we first looked at the website over the summer, we were immediately inundated with a phone call, text, and emails. We decided to go look at the quality of the furniture in the Lakeland store and made it clear we were not ready to buy as our home was not ready yet, we were only browsing. We felt quite a bit of pressure to purchase for delivery after the home was finished, which we declined repeatedly. We did find kitchen chairs that stood out and made a note for when we were ready to buy. We purchased the chairs online in October and they were delivered today - not at all the quality of material in the showroom, one chair was wobbly, one chair had a split in the wood, another had unsightly seams in the wood. The driver was argumentative and stated with regard to the wobbly chair “some chairs…” no some chairs are not wobbly when first purchased and the cost of the chairs warrant good quality. After which he blamed the floor - I moved the chair 4 times and still wobbled and the others did not He stated the seams are normal - I told him the chairs were not worth over $700 and to take them back. The driver said they could schedule replacement delivery and I declined, he said I would feel pressure when I called for a refund to have a replacement. The only good thing I can say about the whole experience is when I called for a refund, there was no sales pitch or pressure to have a replacement and the refund is being processed. The person I spoke to on the phone was pleasant. Hudson’s has lost us as present and future customers."
