"We escaped! We went with family from out-of-town, 4 kids total ages 12-14, & 2 adults. I have not had good experiences at other escape rooms, but we needed something to do with the kids. Other escape rooms we’ve been to are too difficult, the clues were not as good, and we left disappointed in ourselves for not escaping. This time we only had one person in our group that frequents escape rooms. I’ve been to a couple different ones over the years, but I’ve never felt like I helped and I’ve never escaped. This place changed my attitude! Our game master was amazing at giving the perfect clues! We will be back to The Lakeland Escape Room!! (The SPLIT room was a perfect difficulty for us). Tips: I recommend booking online to secure your room & arriving at least 15 minutes early. Go with time to have patience with the staff that may be helping other escapees & the process to get waivers signed (unless you sign online) & watch the video to get started in the room. Do not go if you’re in a time crunch & take the time to take your picture at the end. In the rooms, look at every item in the room, but don’t move anything out-of-place because you will find more clues & they may tie into others. The order in which they were placed in the room is important."

"I’ve done quite a few escape rooms and this one ranks at the bottom. I did The Perfect Heist with my Son for his 13th birthday with 3 of his friends. When the worker brought us to the room, we had to step back out into the hallway and wait while he fixed the room because the room wasn’t setup yet. He then told us the ATM machine in the room was broken (so part of the escape room wasn’t even working…) so it wasn’t going to work and just set the money outside of it and said the money would make sense once we got to that. You could tell he knew this wasn’t acceptable, but just pushed right passed it. Not a great start. There were things definitely not setup correctly in the room because the map made no sense and they had to guide us through it with prompted clues because of clues that seemed to be missed in the room. Doors and hinges on the room were poorly maintained and some were even broken. When we finally got to the last clue, the knobs on the vault were broken and the clue wouldn’t work to open it. When we expressed this to the camera in the room, they stopped the time, the worker came to the room and manually popped the vault and said “you guys won, you escaped”. Just wow. No one apologized or tried to make any of this right. When I tried to bring this up to the gentlemen at the front desk he ignored me and continued to deal with the next customers. I’m very disappointed. Will not being going back and I would not recommend going here."

"Was a very nice experience. The twins were celebrating their birthday. A little Azteca for completing the great escape. I recommend this experience. I would say more, but you just have to experience for yourself."
