"Quite busy with picnickers, walkers and a group of people who appeared to be getting a martial arts lesson involving wooden sticks, this large rural park was an interesting stop where I parked the van for a bit in a quiet shady spot. The park is still quite natural with no real paving and includes an equestrian trail, two reservable picnic pavilions, a playground and a softball field. It was a nice walk and even though it's right next to Palm Beach Boulevard traffic, it is an opportunity to get a bit of nature back into your day."
"Excellent little park. We saw it as we were headed to Lion Country Safari and stopped by on the way back. Playground was open, has a few slides and bars. There's 2 swings for kids/adults, and 2 for babies/toddlers. It was pretty empty except for 1 other family further in. We parked next to the front shelter, which is my reservation, and right next to the playground."
"This is a cute park right in the heart of agriculture country, Loxahatchee Groves. This area is popular with people looking to live a more rural way of life. There is a lot of farm land and many people own horses. The park is a generous 30.12 acres located directly on Southern Boulevard. Park amenities include equestrian trails, a 10 station, 1.47 mile exercise course, open green space, picnic tables with grills, picnic pavilions which can be rented, a playground, bathrooms, and a ball field. I like how this park has a lot of trees. They provide shade for my favorite part of the park, the fitness trail. On the day I visited people were running their dogs, picnicking, and playing softball. You feel like you are out in the country but less than a mile away is all of the strip malls selling everything you need. Really close to the park is a brand new Aldi's where you can purchase all your picnic items. This is a great place to enjoy fresh air and nature."
