About the Business

Spring Park is a beautiful tourist attraction located at 106 Saint Johns Avenue in Green Cove Springs, Florida, United States. Situated along the stunning St. Johns River, the park can be accessed via various streets in the area. Open to the public from sunrise to sunset, Spring Park is a popular destination for families and visitors alike.

The park hosts a variety of activities throughout the year, including the famous Memorial Day RiverFest held in May. It features state-of-the-art playground equipment for children of all ages, as well as covered shelters for picnics and family gatherings. As visitors stroll through the park, they can enjoy the cool breeze from the river, the majestic oak trees draped in Spanish moss, and the mystical spring that flows at a constant temperature of 77 degrees.

Enhancements to Spring Park have been ongoing, with improvements such as a renovated picnic pavilion, upgraded boardwalk and fishing pier, extended trails along the river, and a new kayak launch. These enhancements are part of the city's vision to redevelop the downtown historic district and preserve this natural treasure for future generations to enjoy.

The South Dock Kayak Launch is currently closed for safety dock construction but will reopen soon as part of the Spring Park Improvement Grant Program. This new 150-foot dock will also serve as storage for the Green Cove Springs Police Department boat once funds are secured. Visit Spring Park to experience the beauty and tranquility of this riverside oasis.

"It has 4 different entrances and lots of restroom space. The big boats are nice to look at and it's a great place to get close to the water. The park has several swings and they sit right at the edge by the water. The pier is nice to walk out on and just sit by the water and watch the boats. The spring really stands out especially when the manatees come to visit. They also have the spring fed pool which stays a constant 77 degrees. Don't forget your peanuts for the squirrels though they are waiting on you to feed them. The playground is inviting even to an adult. Lots of things to climb on and play all day"

"This park is so beautiful, overlooking the St. Johns River. It has two very nice playgrounds, public restrooms, several picnic pavillions, a lovely gazebo, and a spring in the middle of the park, which gives it its name. It's just off the main highway running through Green Cove, so it's really easy to get to. There's also a large, spring-fed swimming pool in the park, a splash pad, and a fishing pier nearby."

"I truly enjoyed looking at all the Christmas trees! The decorations were wonderful and the messages from family members that lost loved ones, really touched my heart ❤️ This a great park to visit anytime! Our family went on the weekend and it was not a fight to get through traffic, it was not crowded, which enhanced our time spent looking at each and every tree."
