Tropical Estates Park 10201 Southwest 48th Street, Miami, FL 33165

"I’m only giving this park a 1 star because of the family living behind the park. I grew up in this neighborhood and have never had any issues until recently. This couple likes to show up and say we are being too loud at a park, a public park. The staff is great and had warned us that if they hear more than 5 people they will come and ask us to leave. Again, we are at park. Where kids come to play. Are kids loud? Yes but that’s why we go to a park for them to run and play freely, whether it be soccer, kickball, football, play in the play ground, etc. I found it absolutely ridiculous that they ask everyone to leave to another park or be quiet. My only question is why is the family so entitled that they have the “commissioner” (as per them) let them do whatever they want? They chose to purchase a home directly behind a park, now the residents of the area have to keep it down at a public park?!"

"My children attended summer camp at this park and did not enjoy it. The park seems quite limited in activities and children sit on one bench under the afternoon sun awaiting pick up, for quite a while. They seem to just sit around for a lot of the time. Staff was courteous and seemed quite responsible. Restrooms were clean."

"I grew up in this park and my daughter and son have both attended the summer camp and swimming lessons at the pool. I have recommended several of my friends to take their children there for camp. Up until last summer this was a great summer camp...David and Brian ran it like a well oiled machine. They changed the manager last summer and it all went downhill from there...accidents that were not reported...carelessness of park manager and employees. Very very sad"

"I used to swim at this pool for my high school swim team (South Miami Sr.) and it was a coincidence that I fell in love with the facility when it came to book for my baby shower. All my needs were accomodated by courteous staff and can we say affordable? Having the outdoor playground with ample space for my inflatables and the indoor in case of the unpredictable Florida weather made it a great choice for my daughter's first birthday as well. It's also located in a nice area that's easy to find with more than enough parking as well. Loved it!"
