Sands Park

"This park should be called scooter park with how many families come out to ride the long sidewalk path on their razors. It’s wonderful! The playground is new and in perfect condition with a huge shade canopy with her it making tons of shade! The playground has a great size for the kids to run around and lots of swings. Also at the park is a pickle ball court, tennis court, cornhole area, basket ball court and tons of field space. They have a picnic gazebo area next to the playground and bathrooms. And a few more, so lots of space for parties and families to sit. Very well planned out. The neighborhood is quiet and has low traffic. The parking lot isn’t big but we didn’t have a hard time finding parking, though I could see that becoming an issue later with the mere size of this place! I gave it a 4 simply because it has no trees grown up yet to provide additional shade, as they are all babies it does give the feeling of a field but ton of trees have been planted and will create nice ambience in a decade."

"Checked out the park today. It is very nice and well planned. Plenty of parking and has nice amenities. I like how they designated separate courts for tennis and pickleball! They have a putting green and even had putters and balls to use. Same goes for the corn hole toss area. It has a nice basketball court too! The walking path goes around entire park which is quite large! It is a great addition to our parks in the Cape! You don't mind paying taxes when you see the money used will benefit the citizens."
