"A nice find. Not crowded. Easy parking, Shells. A lot of restoration is on-going from Hurricane Ira's destruction, so the area is not as pretty right now. But, we enjoyed sitting by the water anyway."

"Beautiful beach and a small area of mangroves to explore. Views of the bridges and boats coming and going to and from Fort Myers. The free LeeTram drops off/picks up here. Facilities are still unavailable due to Ian damage (as of December 2023)."

"It is a nice small beach where the Gulf of Mexico and a large river merge. I found loads of seashells and saw pelicans drive for fish. The bathrooms are closed as a result of Hurricane Ian but portal Johns are available. The picnic tables are not available, probably because of the hurricane."
